In Social Events on September 22, 2010 at 9:44 pm

Hello Planners!

As many of you are aware the Wellington Brewery 25th Anniversary Party
is this Saturday September 25th in Guelph!

To ensure that everyone can travel to and from the brewery safely, we
have decided to organize a bus.

The bus will be leaving from Ring Road in front of the Humanities Theater
at 12:00pm and returning from the Wellington Brewery at 10pm.

Price will be dependent on the number of people who sign up, but it
will be around $10-15 per person (cash payment received at the bus).

Entrance to the brewery festivities and drinks are free (with a
non-perishable food item).

Anyone who wants to attend to please respond to Kathryn
krandle@uwaterloo.ca by 10pm tomorrow (Thursday September 23).

Hopefully we can get enough people to make the bus happen! Feel free
to invite your friends (just let us know how many when you RSVP).

We look forward to seeing you,

Kathryn Randle and Brad Bradford

Global Warring: How Environmental, Economic, and Political Crises Will Redraw the World Map

Signature Lecture with Cleo Paskal
Thursday, January 14 – 7:00 p.m.
CIGI – 57 Erb Street West, Waterloo
Free Admisission, RSVP online at www.paskal.eventbrite.com

With the world watching the UN conference on climate change in Copenhagen, geo-political expert Cleo Paskal looks at how environmental changes will affect more than just the weather. We live in interesting times. The biggest Western economic institutions are crumbling, what were once marginalized voices are now dominating international negotiations, and touchstone climate events are failing. Everywhere you look economic, geopolitical and environmental assumptions are being shaken to the core. The world is changing. Fast.
