The AGP held an ‘end-of-term’ BBQ in Dave’s backyard last Thursday (April 15), which marked the end of the Winter 2010 term. A good turnout ensured good times for all who found their way. A big thank you to Dave for demonstrating superb hosting skills.
Interim Dean, Faculty of Environment
Dr. Deep Saini, current Dean of the Faculty of Environment is leaving the University of Waterloo as of June 30, 2010. Dr. Mark Seasons, current Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies in the Faculty of Environment, will serve as Interim Dean of Environment effective July 1, 2010, until a permanent appointment is made, but no longer than one year.
CAPS 2011
The planning of CAPS is in progress, and we are trilled that Thomas Homer-Dixon has offered to be a keynote speaker. We will work to secure more keynote speaker over the summer.
